Hello Vijay,

ok i will try. And this means? That all over the Volume 10GB will reserverd before the Volume runs out of Space and a possible write of a File will fail? Right? Does this option work on the same way at all types of gluster e.g. replicated, distributed and so on?

Thx
Sunny

Hello, i have a question about the Volume Option min-free-disk. Actually i set it to 1%. I understand this, that 1% auf the total Space e.g. 100GB out of 10TB will reserved for files which is copied in a distributed cluster. if the file is bigger, it will copied to the next node. i think 100GB is a lot space and i didnt find out how to set it e.g to 0,5% or 10GB. is this possible and what would happend if i set it to zero, will i lost data? Explain please
You can set this in terms of absolute disk space value too. For e.g., you can do: gluster volume set <volname> cluster.min-free-disk 10GB -Vijay
