Technical details: Storage server an VM both run Ubuntu 12.04.
glusterfs 3.4.2 installed
from ppa:semiosis/ubuntu-glusterfs-3.4.
As a general thought, it's a good idea to upgrade to GlusterFS
3.4.5 as well, as there have been a lot of bug fixes since
3.4.2. :)
Ah, ok. Good to know. I had understood Louis Zuckerman's ppa was the
official one, and since it offers 3.4.2 as stable and 3.4.5beta1 as
testing, I had assumed stable to be the safer choice. :)
Will look into this.
