Neither. LATEST now points at 3.7/3.7.1. 3.7.1 doesn't build on EPEL5, python is too old and some other requisite packages are not available.
If you were running 3.6.x, then you need to pull from .../glusterfs/3.6/LATEST/... where EPEL 5 is still supported.
