Regards how I cleared the brick - idid a "rm -rf" from the root dir, i.e
for vng.proxmox.softlog:/vmdata/datastore1:
vng$ cd /vmdata
vng$ rm -rf datastore1
Also, all the bricks are hosted on zfs datastest.
