Hi there :-) just a little update... and to make it short: debian trixie offers glusterfs packages. I did the update/upgrade within a debian dist-upgrade from bookwork --> trixie, so the proper packages are installed; minor version number 11.1-1 -> 11.1-6
https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=glusterfs&searchon=names&suite=stable§ion=all After trying the upgrade/install with a test glusterfs, the upgrade went fine, one minor issue: glusterfs-server now depends on glusterfs-cli which wasn't installed before. Installed the package on the production systems before the upgrade; during the dist-upgrade i ran into an error: Errors were encountered while processing: /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-79X8J9/3-glusterfs-cli_11.1-6_amd64.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Probably because of the dependency. But with 'apt --fix-broken install' the upgrade process continued, finished, reboot, and gluster was back, healing itself. So at least the packages on debian trixie seem to work as expected.
