If you search this group, you'll see a few suggestions on how to get your
desired option.  The first step is to suggest it to google through the
suggestion page on the help screens.  The options, until gmail implements
it, are to either forward the messages to yourself, with whatever
attachments, and change the subject; you can then delete the one with the
generic subject.  Or, you can use an IMAP client, like Thunderbird, to edit
them directly, as it will change the file on their server.
