I noticed something extremely strange with the jibberish I mention
regarding sending the jpg. that email sent was addressed to me. It was
received 3 places. In Gmail which was jibberish, in Outlook where the jpg
did not appear but niether did the jibberish, and here is the REALLY
STRANGE part. It was also received on my iPhone and the jpg showed up fine
there! If it makes any difference this was not an uploaded file, it was
cut from elsewhere and pasted into the body of the outgoing email.
