I suspect your best be is going to be to sign up for Google/Apps.

Next best would be to export and import regularly. I suspect that you will 
want to create a tag for the contacts you want to share and only 
export/import those. Unless you want to share all contacts. One problem 
I've had with this approach is when both of you happen to edit the same 
contact, If you both change it differently, both will get updated 
differently. Things can get off track in a few days.

Soocal might work OK too, but it's the same price as Google/Apps.
