This past week I was to have been involved in a video conference call
arranged by a colleague and using Verizon FiOS. I was to have been
notified of the specifics by way of an invitation that should have come to
my gmail account. It never came. When I hailed the meeting's facilitator
on-line and explained the problem, he promptly send a second invitation to
my gmail account. We both checked to make sure it was the correct
address. But this second invitation didn't arrive either. Nor did it (or
its predecessor) end up in my spam folder. During all this, he and I
exchanged several regular emails (using the same gmail account) and those
came through with no delays or problems.

Anyone have an idea of what is not working that should be? Doesn't sound
like something that entirely is gmail's doing. On the other hand, the
invitations at least should have come straight through to my gmail
account. I have occasionally missed some gmail over the years, but nothing
as clear cut as this.

Regards to all

Paul
