hello, I have this recurrent problem: someone who has the same name name as me but a gmail account without the '.' in between first and last name is losing all his private mail to my account since many time now. I'm a bit tired and have informed many of the senders about this but keep receiving his mail and now I'm receiving important and private mails destined to him.
I thought having the . in a gmail account was the same as not having it.
