It might be unrelated to whatever you did.  I think Google is messing
with what the right mouse button does in Gmail.

I used to have the Preview Gmail Lab, but it now seems to be gone.
For a day or two, the right mouse click did nothing special in Gmail
(it reverted to the web browser's pop-up menu).  But now I get a very
small pop-up with (simply) Archive, Delete, and Mark as read.  Google
seems to have changed it, replacing the old Lab.
