I have gotten some spam all along; currently maybe one or two daily. No recent change. Actually, if anything, it has gotten less in recent weeks. Your incidence of spam has a lot to do with where you let your email address go. If you use it to order or purchase things, to sign up for anything, to send mail to many other people, if you post messages in email groups (like this one), you increase the chances of getting on someone's spam list. All it takes is one of your friends or relatives having their email account compromised, or a virus on their computer, and your address can fall into the wrong hands.
