Here's my problem. I get spammed by a number of recruiters / headhunters on a nearly daily basis. I have the 'canned response' labs added to my GMail account. I have set up a unique canned response that gives the recruiter a 'real' e-mail address to contact me at so we can have an intelligent conversation (if you can call it that with the recruiters). Problem I am having is with the filtering...
Incoming e-mail to [email protected]: If it has "position OR opportunity OR contract OR Position OR Opportunity OR Contract OR job OR Job" in the 'body' of the message, send the canned response (which it does fine) and label it as 'dumb recruiters'. Incoming e-mail to [email protected]: label it as 'smart recruiters'. And stop. I tried, unsuccessfully, to have two filters that would have both settings above, one for smart & other for dumb. Problem is that any messages sent to "[email protected]" address and it has a keyword like "job" in it, it gets labeled as 'dumb' and 'smart' and is found in both label bins.
