Jason, You are in deed able to post to this list, as are all the 19000+ members, but as the site warned you, it's a moderated list (a result of our friendly spammers using mailing lists to spread their wares). The "old groups" interface would send you a message if the moderator rejected your message, but I have no idea if this one does. You just have to wait and see on some lists.
