When you send an email message, Gmail saves a copy of the sent message in
your "Sent Mail" folder/label.  It has always done this.

Everything that is not in Trash or Spam, is also visible in "All Mail".
 "All Mail" is just that ... all your mail (that is not deleted or spam).
 So by definition, anything that is in your Inbox or Sent Mail or any of
your other labels, is also in All Mail.  It has always been that way.

Note that they are not two copies of the same message.
