I've had similar problems with my list of about 40 names. If I send from Gmail, there is an ISP used by many on the list which just deletes the emails with no error message. I tried sending instead from my hosting account and some of the ISPs bounced them as spam. I may be able to eliminate the latter problem. I'm trying another solution in the meantime with MailChimp, an email service with an excellent reputation. It is free for fewer than 2000 names.
