Have you seen changes to your Gmail Settings? Are messages being deleted, or assigned different Labels? Do you see that someone else had access when you click on "Details" in the lower right corner. If the only thing you have seen is emails that appear to have come from your address, he might not have hacked your account. He might simply be pretending to use your address. It is a weakness in the Internet's email system. Just the same, follow Marko's advice to check your computer.
