In the past, I have used a filter and an SMS gateway to send a text to my
phone whenever a specific person emails me (I usually leave my phone in
"dumb mode" to save the battery).

Now, I have switched carriers to T-Mobile, and their SMS gateway doesn't
work if the message is too long. Since the actual content of the email
isn't important (just knowing that "Bob emailed you."), I'd like to set up
a filter that shoots a sort of "canned forward" to myself whenever "Bob"
emails me that is guaranteed to be short enough that the SMS gateway will
process it.

Any ideas about how I can do this?
