The post response you started this thread with, seems to indicate it came from the other account. Did you post via e-mail, or through it's web page?
How are you sending the e-mails that come with the wrong from address? Thunderbird, mailApp, Gmail web page? Depending on which way you are sending it determines how that address is getting on it. If it's the web site, then you have the account listed as a from address. Go into your gmail settings and remove it from there; then it won't be ABLE to send-as.
