Hey, I could be wrong, just test it out. I believe you don't have to "login
to Gmail or Hangouts" to be seen as available. If you open your browser,
especially if it is Chrome, you are seen as "available".
..."and someone else saw my status turning green for a while and then
yellow again"..
but was it a flash, like a second or two or 30, maybe you have a scheduled
task that is set to "wake to run". Check your "Scheduled Tasks".
If it was longer than maybe the hubby/family has linked accidentally to it.
Its a tricky one for sure.
