I'm having the same problem. Setting up alias accounts with GoDaddy domain 
email addresses like always, but I get:
 Authentication failed. Please check your username/password.
[Server response: 535 Authentication Failed for (email address) code(535) ]

I verified correct info by logging into GD webmail (also, I've set up 4 
email addresses in the last 2 weeks with same server info). I called 
GoDaddy and they said just keep trying and it might work. Sounds pretty 
sketch to me, hah don't know who's fault it is or how to fix :/

Soooo I guess, just keep randomely trying with fingers crossed...
