Can someone suggest how to resolve this annoying Gmail *feature*? > What "annoying Gmail feature" is that? Do you mean the one where Comcast.net rejected the email that was sent to an address Comcast says doesn't exist? How does Comcast's rejection count as a Gmail problem? You must have something set up in your Google account that attempts to send a message to that Comcast.net address, either directly or indirectly (i.e., to another address, which then forwards it to the Comcast one). Keep looking. You just haven't found it yet. I don't make a lot of use of Google Calendar, but there are several places in the Calendar Settings where notifications can be set. Have you checked them all? The forwarded headers from your bounce message seem to imply that the offending notification email message was directly addressed to the Comcast.net address, i.e., it isn't being forwarded by your Gmail. I would take a closer look in Calendar. I don't know if this helps, but I wonder if deleting the offending Calendar event and adding a new one, or turning off Notifications, would help.
