I used Google Inbox for Android and occasionally receive a Google Alert email which has not been tagged as Spam but into which the following wording has been inserted at the top of the message, presumably by Google's email servers:
"Be careful with this message "The sender's account may have been compromised and used to send malicious messages." In addition, all links in the email have been disabled. However, the text of the email appears to be a genuine Google email. I'm confused and have a couple of questions: 1. Does anyone know if Google have an email address to sent such suspect emails for confirmation or explanation why it was suspected of being malicious? 2. Is there any way, on an Android device, to check an email's header and verify its authenticity? Neither Inbox nor Gmail for Android seem to have this function. 3. Any ideas why Google's mail servers marked the email as suspect, but Inbox ignores it and leaves it in the inbox? It just seems rather strange.
