This isn't really a new topic, but no one seems to have written about it
for a few years and I can't find documentation about it on line.

I'd like to consolidate my email onto one service. I have mbox files with
decades of my email, but at this point it's only about 1/3 of my historic
email, 2/3rds (by size at least) are on gmail already. I want to upload my
old mbox files to gmail. Gmail exports to mbox, but does it import? Or
should I look for another solution?

I don' know if this matters, but I already pay for my gmail because of the
amount of storage I use.
