​I don't think Gmail has the option to not display the normal Inbox.

But this is what I do for some of my incoming emails.  In the Filter that
assigns a particular Label, I also check the box to Archive (Skip the
Inbox).  Then in the "Multiple Inbox", I display only unread messages with
that Label.

Now, with your normal Inbox and that first Multiple Inbox side-by-side, it
should do almost the same thing you want.

Just be aware that reading a message thread makes it automatically
disappear from the right pane.  If you didn't want that, then omit the
"is:unread" from the Multiple Inbox.  I've also experimented with using a
"Star": new messages with that Label also get Starred, and the Multiple
Inbox displays messages with the label that are also Starred.  Now I can
use the Star to keep or drop a message from that pane.
