Tonight, using FireFox as my browser, I was trying to send a reply to a message, and the GMail editor would allow me to copy text, but not to cut or paste text.
I tried several times, drafting replies to different messages. Same result. I even tried to pop-out the reply, hoping that might reset something. No change. I did a ctrl+F5 to do a complete refresh of my GMail tab. Problem fixed.
