I think I have an idea for a favicon fix. If you disable your history, your favicons disappear unless you go into the options menu and hit ok. I read another post that says for missing icons you can put the path of the favicon into the notes section.
What if there was an additional text box specifically for favicons. When Gmarks is first run and history is enabled, the path for the favicon would be put in this box. The second time Gmarks is run this path would remain in the box, and therefore would not need to be updated. If the history is not enabled, the options menu trick would attempt to find the favicons and place the path in the box. If they were not found, the user could manually input the paths if they wish.
