If you... 1 Subscribe to a google alert in google reader.
2 Star item(s) in that feed. ...the starred item(s) get all fouled up in the Gmarks sidebar. _________________________________ example Here's a Google Alert feed that has a starred item: "Vanya On 42nd Street - btjunkie" Google Alerts - intitle:"Vanya on" intitle:"Street" site:btjunkie.org | site:btmon.com | site:demonoid.com | site:mininova.org ... http://www.google.com/alerts/feeds/14004714630220770853/3035583176041626621 And here's the url for that starred item in that feed: Vanya On 42nd Street - btjunkie http://btjunkie.org/search?query=Vanya+On+42nd+Street&m=1 There are no bold tags in document.title on that page. Trivia - I starred that item by accident - it's a useless url. _________________________________ A minor problem Html tags (well at least bold...) are visible in the title <b>Vanya On</b> 42nd <b>Street</b> - btjunkie _________________________________ A serious problem In Gmarks the url is corrupted. Example - for that bookmark the url is tag:google.com,2005:reader/item/40d1924b5ec007d8 And I get a dialog box saying "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (tag) isn't associated with any program." _________________________________ Google Alerts http://www.google.com/alerts/manage?hl=en&gl= --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GMarks" group.
