Hello everyone, and thank you, John Marshall for this beautiful add- on! It combined two features that are most important to me for my bookmarks - easy access (in the form of the toolbar) and on-line sync (Google or something else, I don't care too much).
I would like to make a few suggestions for features that I find would be useful to me. First, I would very much like to be able to sort bookmarks in the toolbar the way I want them to be. (Since virtually all of my bookmarks are in the toolbar.) Second, I am missing the "Refresh" option somewhere handy (other than in GMarks menu), like on a toolbar button and/or in the right-click menu. And maybe even a "Refresh every x minutes" in the options. Lastly, the following suggestion is what caused me to almost uninstalling the plug-in when I first looked at it! (Though it is my fault for not understanding the Google Labels at the time, but hey, programs are for users, and users are... not smart, in general :)) It's about deleting the bookmarks, and it is actually two complaints: 1) If a bookmark has two labels, and I delete the bookmark, it only removes one label instantly. The other label will be removed on refresh. This is misleading for new users, thinking they removed only the bookmark they clicked on and pressed "Delete". Force refresh here! 2) In light of 1), maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask for confirmation when user is deleting a bookmark that has more then one label on it.
