This is a very fine extension. It does a lot of things nicely. Might I suggest though that everyone ONLY use it to augment FireFox's bookmarks, & not replace it, or place it in a position that it is to highly depended upon unless it is vital that you do. I suggest highly, that you consider not Importing your FireFox Bookmarks into GMarks if you have heaps like me.
I don't know if it is the extension or Google, but each & every time I open the browser & sign-on to Google there are orphaned bookmarks within partial folder names. Now I could place them via Organize, but I have hundreds of sub-folders with sub-folders of their own, & no sure/easy way to find where the orphan belongs. The only 2 things I would like to see in the next version of GMarks is one that has been mentioned before, but is extremely important Accommodation for 'MANUAL' sorting as an option. Also, I would also like to see 'COMPRESS ALL' for the bookmark tree within the Organizer's options menu. It is a real annoyance when you have 100+ sub-folders (over 900 bookmarks), each with a handful of their own, all open without any quick way to close them---except manually & then when you click the main Bookmark Folder they all Expand!!!! PLEASE...Make opening/expanding optional, & all compressed as the initial condition--PLEASE. On the whole, I really really like it, but there are modifications needed to make it as good as it could be. Someday it could be "One of the 'IMMORTALS' " --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GMarks" group.
