Thanks John for your reply. Unfortunately this only works in GMarks search field: not in Google toolbar's search field, firefox-google field or firefox-address field. It DOES work for http://www.google.com/notebook/bookmarks however or when I search for bookmarks (in google's toolbar).
Do you understand what I'm missing? I'm missing the fastest way to my favorites..
