I am on record as having complained about this authentication issue,
and it is a pain in the ass. BUT, I'm not going to abandon Gmarks just
yet. Firstly, I'm willing to cut the author a break as he obviously
has other things on his plate and it's not like he gets paid for this.
I have used Xmarks in the past (when it was Foxmarks) and occasionally
had frustrating synchronization issues. Perhaps that has been fixed,
however "the grass is not always greener..."

In any case, I'll try to live a bit longer with the workaround of
occasionally logging in to my Google account and clicking the "stay
logged in" box to persist the cookie. I'm hoping that John will
eventually solve this problem when time allows.
