I have the same issue but it wasn't resolved either by changing to a different Firefox add-on to access my google bookmarks (e.g. Deng's or Google bookmarks button) or by starting over from scratch with a new profile on Firefox. I even have the same issue on the same computer when I try to access the google bookmarks running a VMWare Fusion virtual Windows XP machine... (the host is a Macbook Pro running 10.5.x). Very very odd. I can access the google bookmarks with this add-on from other machines without any issue... Seems almost like a firewall issue but I am not running one... Other people in my same facility can use their gmarks add-on with no problem so it can't be a network-wide firewall or something like that.... I have googled for similar issues to no avail....
Anyone care to give a kindergarden-level explanation of how gmarks talks to google's server so I can get some idea of where it is breaking down? The sign in works fine but it just doesn't seem to recognize that I have any bookmarks. (But if I go to the manage bookmarks web page, they are all there.) Thanks!
