Just now I noticed a new component in FF4.0b4pre called Sync. This will sync your setting and also bookmarks. I thought, let's be silly and assume I can just import my Google bookmarks into FF. And guess what, it even works! On the Google bookmarks page, select export to HTML. Then manage your bookmarks in FF you can import from a HTML file. Even my categories got imported over, very surprising indeed :) Still have to test if they actually sync over to my other install.
