I think there will soon be a big demand for a good Google Bookmark import. The new Google Apps (which I believe will be rolled out in the fall) includes Web Search and Google Bookmarks. And it makes it less convenient to access any bookmarks you might have been using from a regular, non-Apps account.
The result is that you've got to find a way to move your bookmarks from your old, regular account to your new apps account. Google Bookmarks provides a great export function - it exports all of your bookmark data to an HTML file, but there is nothing that does a decent job of importing that file. For example, the 'official' bookmark import requires you to install the Google toolbar and still loses all of the dates and comments from your bookmarks! Losing dates is one thing, but anyone that has entered comments with their bookmarks won't want to lose them. My point is that it would be great if GMarks was able to import the Google Bookmark export file. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GMarks" group.
