Basically, google removes things it doesn't consider as active sites from the 
rss feed gmarks uses.
It does, however, leaves these in the xml feed.

It removes javascript: links, links to local servers (that google can't see), 
etc

Gmarks still uses the rss feed instead of the xml feed because the xml feed 
doesn't include certain things, like the bookmark's description.
