I recently moved to FF 8.0.1. While attempting to get back look and
feel I had in 3.6.24, I dragged the Quick Add Gmark icon to my
Navigation Toolbar. I didn't see anything but the customize pane
didn't show it so I suspected it was there but invisible. It is.
When I move the cursor there, I get the tool tip and, in fact, it
works. I do see a tiny white line when the cursor is over the
invisible icon. I sure would like to see it. I'm using Mac OS.

For what it's worth, an old add on called Google Bookmarks Button
0.3.6 by Pau Tomàs, which hasn't been supported for a long time was
the best of these and I liked that it displayed an empty star on the
toolbar the and when clicked in filled yellow indicating it's
bookmarked. Another click and no yellow no bookmark. Much easier and
a single click. Thanks.
