GMarks auto-login will never work. Google changed the URL several years ago and GMarks hasn't been updated. In order for it to work, you must authenticate yourself (e.g. by visiting https://www.google.com/bookmarks/), which will cause Google to send you a cookie. With that in place, GMarks should be able to read your bookmarks.
Note that if you block cookies, this won't work.
