GMarks auto-login will never work.  Google changed the URL several years 
ago and GMarks hasn't been updated.  In order for it to work, you must 
authenticate yourself (e.g. by visiting https://www.google.com/bookmarks/), 
which will cause Google to send you a cookie.  With that in place, GMarks 
should be able to read your bookmarks.

Note that if you block cookies, this won't work.  If your browser is set to 
clear cookies on shutdown, you will have to re-authenticate (via the above 
URL) every time you start your browser.
