That's what I do out here as well -- haven't set it up for my account on
mesajade, though, because there is enough VPN hoop jumping that I
haven't bothered to try putting my keys there.

If you’re using a server you can log into with SSH, you can set up a
shared key. That’s how I do it – no passwords in sight!
You can do that with GitLab too.

If you use a client like SourceTree it will do that. For “bare”
command-line git, I’m not sure it’s possible.
