I am trying to compile GMSH from the source code on windows vista. Ihe website mentions that it needs Cygwin to compile. Here is my question: once compiled from GMSH, would it produce an executable for Windows O/S ? Is Cygwin the only way to get windows executable for GMSH ? Thank you for all the effort gone into to product and would love to contribute to it.
