Hi,
you can visualize the orientation of the surfaces (and the influence of the minus sign) by putting a non-zero value in
Tools->Options->Geometry->Visibility->Normals box.
idem for the mesh in Tools->Options->Mesh->Visibility->Normals
Cheers,
Dave

HI there
I am newer to gmsh. I read the tutorial and I have a question now. For
line loop, there will be a sign to define the proper connection. but in
for volume loop how to determine whether I should put a sign overthere?
according to the normal of surface?
