Hi Kosala,
if it is possible, try to use the STEP format instead of the IGES. STEP stores the information about the topology of the
model and should keep the volume information.

Dave

Hi,
I'm having a problem importing solid objects vie IGES format.
Basically, when I mesh it only a surface mesh is created.
If I need a volume mesh I have to define the volume again in gmsh. Is there a
way to automatically recognize volumes
when you import?
