I'm new to gmsh, am not sure what I'm trying is even supported, and not sure I'm doing it right if it is. Nevertheless, I'm going to ask a question anyway.
I built a version of gmsh on windows including acis libs. Then I opened a sat file and the expected geometry shows up in the graphics window. Then I push the 3D button in Mesh. I get only a surface mesh; I wanted a tetrahedral element mesh. If I do the same thing with demo/cube.geo, I get a tetrahedral mesh as expected. Should 3D mesh work the same for both geometry sources or is there likely some error in my gmsh build? Thanks. Bill Greene
