Dear Vanessa,
I have recently implemented the import of block-structured CGNS meshes
in Gmsh. It is unfortunately not yet included in the stable release (so
if you want the functionality, you will have to either use a nightly
build or compile your own). I don't currently have any plan to add
support for unstructured CGNS meshes, but the code itself shouldn't be
too hard to modify and extend. I'm willing to provide guidance and help
a bit if you (or someone else on the list ;) ) want to make that happen.

PS : The block-structured import lets you create high-order meshes
directly from the points in the CGNS meshes if the "expert mode" option
is active, if that is of any interest to you.
