Benjamin,
I think I see what you want, and to best of my knowledge Gmsh won't be
able to do that (but I surely may be wrong).
I believe you'll need to define lines connecting vertices of the
triangle with the bottom side of the cylinder explicitly. In this case
it would be better to define the circular base of the cylinder by 3 (not
4) points. And then you'll need to define 3 ruled surfaces. This
approach will work.
Best regards,
Mikhail

Hello Mikhail,
Thank you for your answer.
Indeed, I have to use a ruled surface and no a plane surface. For
example, I attach a sample geo file.
Best regards,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
Use "Plane Surface" instead.
Or there is a particular reason to use the "ruled" surface?

Mikhail
Hello every body!
I have a problem with Gmsh software.
I create a ruled surface which contains a hole boundary. Then I want to
save this geo file in unroll format. But when I do it, my ruled surface
is not exported and I do not understand why. I have the message:
"Error : Skipping surface 40 in export"
The file is attached to this mail.
Can you say me if I perform something wrong or not.
I tested this operation with gmsh version 2.4.2, 2.7.0 and 2.8.4.
Thanks a lot.
Regards
