The error is occurring in compiling the assembly non-bonded routines, so
any MPI issue won't affect it.
Did you try icc9 and fftw3 and get the same error?
Yes, icc9 does the same sort of thing (see the link in the original
poster's message). fftw3 is not an issue here as above.
