dear Users,
I am trying to install gromacs on RED HAT 4.I am using rpm files for
installation purpose
but I am getting these errors
[EMAIL PROTECTED] GROMACS]# rpm -ivh gromacs-3.3.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4) is needed by gromacs-3.3.2-1.i386
rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by gromacs-3.3.2-1.i386
then I try to install glibc-2.4-11.i386.rpm but its giving these errors
[EMAIL PROTECTED] GROMACS]# rpm -ivh glibc-2.4-11.i386.rpm
warning: glibc-2.4-11.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2
error: Failed dependencies:
glibc-common = 2.4-11 is needed by glibc-2.4-11.i386
gdb < 6.3.0.0-1.111 conflicts with glibc-2.4-11.i386
glibc > 2.3.4 conflicts with glibc-common-2.3.4-2.13.i386
Can any one please help me in solving these problem..........
