Last is preferred.
Where is "last" documented? I remember seeing a few emails fly past but some place is needed. In the wiki? Or do I just not know how to find it in the docbook output?
Note that I introduced the the builtin_function class long ago (July 2006) and I think I explained the reason for that in a mail on gnash-dev.
Just didn't port all the classes to new layout.
Layout's one thing but if it's a superceded interface it'd be nice to get rid of all use of the legacy versions systematically and remove any defines or types it used to make sure it's expunged.
I was hoping newbies would take that task on, so I'm very happy if you want to take that over.
