I'd like to help out with this, but I don't think it's realistic... I haven't even gotton around to make the gstreamer backend work properly yet (though some of the issues is gstreamer bugs), so I don't think I'll have time to help doing this, even though i'd really like to make it easier to add new graphic renderers to gnash, since I think it would make gnash more popular on more platforms/setups.
