Well, actually those method-existence tests were in the file already before I touched it, see http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewcvs/gnash/testsuite/actionscript.all/Date.as?rev=1.14&root=gnash&view=markup so keep your hair on. ANYWAY I've modified them to mimic the way Boolean.as does it, but cannot test it whatever way it is the web stuff does because the link you cite refers to Date.as,v 1.19 2007/03/03 17:27:29 which is a month and a half, and four versions out of date. If you update it (or make it remain current) we can see if that had helped or whether there are new tragic disasters to be dealt with.
